TVS Motor Company has recently entered the adventure motorcycle segment with the launch of the Apache RTX 300 in India. The top spec Built to Order variant is priced at Rs 2.34 lakh for the exclusive Viper Green colour, while other options including Tarn Bronze, Metallic Blue and Lightning Black are priced at Rs 2.29 lakh ex showroom.The Apache RTX 300 is powered by the brand’s latest RT-XD4 engine, a 299.1cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled unit that delivers 36 hp and 28.5 Nm of torque. First showcased at MotoSoul 2024, this engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with an assist-and-slipper clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter.

TVS has equipped the Apache RTX 300 with a comprehensive set of features, including four riding modes: Urban, Rain, Tour, and Rally. Riders also get cruise control, ride-by-wire throttle, and wheelie mitigation for better control and safety. The top variants come with a 5-inch TFT display that supports Bluetooth connectivity, Google Maps integration, ride analytics, and even GoPro control through the TVS SmartXonnect app.What makes the BTO version special is the level of customisation it offers. It gets adjustable suspension, with tunable USD forks up front and a rear monoshock, allowing to fine-tune the ride setup. Other features include a brass-coated chain, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and the Viper Green colour option.
